Frog And Toad Together

This was a great book! The story Chipmunk liked best was Frog And Toad In Danger.

In this story Frog and Toad got into some dangerous situations

Met a snake

Had rocks fall onto them

Got chased by a fierce bird

But they managed to get safely home and they hid in a cupboard and stayed there for a very long time!

Chipmunk enjoyed the danger element of this story!

Monster Eyeballs

Tonights school reading book was

This was quite a thought provoking book about a class bully and how the main character Kate dealt with the situation.

This is Kate and this is the *bully*

The bully's name is Mark and he takes Kates chocolate bars :-(

In the end Kate finds out that the bully is scared of *grapes*

And he never bullies her again!

Chipmunk enjoyed this book and so did I!

Hello :-)

Books are so very important to Chipmunk!

He lives, sleeps, eats books and always has done!

I cannot begin to imagine how many books Chipmunk has read in his life,I would love to know :-)

He has at least 2 bedtime stories every night and has done since being a small baby.

We read downstairs too and have a special place on the settee where we snuggle up together and share books.

I'm going to try and post some of Chipmunks reading journey and I hope he will become involved with this blog and make his own contributions too!

Let the journey begin :-)
